Material characteristics of rubber sealing ring

The rubber sealing ring can be used to install on various machines, mobile phones, watches, lighters, auto accessories and other equipment. It can play a sealing role in the specified temperature and pressure as well as in different liquids and gases under static or moving conditions.

Analysis of material characteristics of rubber sealing ring:

1. Fluorine rubber: It has high temperature resistance, can be used in the environment of - 30 ℃ -+250 ℃, and is resistant to strong oxidant, oil, acid and alkali. Usually used in high temperature, high vacuum and high pressure environment, suitable for oil environment. Due to its excellent properties, fluororubber is widely used in petroleum, chemical, aviation, aerospace and other sectors.

2. Silicone rubber: it has outstanding resistance to high and low temperatures, maintains good elasticity in the temperature range of - 70 ℃ -+260 ℃, and has the advantages of ozone resistance, weather aging resistance, etc. It is suitable for use as a sealing gasket in thermal machinery. It can be made of thermal insulation, insulating products and medical rubber products without any toxicity.

3. Nitrile rubber: It has excellent oil resistance and aromatic solvent resistance, but it is not resistant to ketone, ester, chlorination and other media. Therefore, the oil-resistant sealing products are mainly made of nitrile rubber.

4. Neoprene rubber: It has good oil resistance, solvent resistance, chemical media and other properties, but it is not resistant to aromatic oil. Its characteristics are excellent weather aging and ozone aging properties. In production, neoprene is usually used to make sealing strips and diaphragms for doors and windows and sealing products for general vacuum.

5. EPDM: It has good temperature resistance, weather aging resistance and ozone aging performance. Generally, door and window sealing strips are most widely used in the automobile industry.

6. Polytetrafluoroethylene composite gasket is a new type of sealing material made of polytetrafluoroethylene and high-quality all-rubber by special production process. It combines the excellent characteristics of polytetrafluoroethylene and rubber, making the product not only excellent corrosion resistance, but also high temperature resistance, non-toxic, anti-sticky, and good elasticity and sealing.
